By accessing and using CareerMax ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

CareerMax is an AI-powered resume optimization platform that helps users improve their resumes for better ATS (Applicant Tracking System) compatibility and job application success. Our services include:

• Resume analysis and scoring
• ATS optimization recommendations
• AI-powered resume generation and editing
• Job-specific resume tailoring
• Interview preparation resources
• Related career tools and features

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. When you register, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your password and identification
• Accept all responsibility for activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
• Upload, post, or transmit any content that is illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by CareerMax and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Service (such as your resume). By uploading content, you grant CareerMax a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any part of the Service without our prior written permission.

Certain features of the Service may require payment. By purchasing a subscription or making a payment, you agree to:

• Pay all fees associated with your selected plan
• Provide accurate billing information
• Authorize us to charge your payment method for recurring subscriptions
• Understand that fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in our refund policy

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We offer a 2-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with CareerMax within 2 days of your initial purchase, contact us for a full refund. Refund requests must be made within 2 days of the original purchase date.

After the 2-day period, refunds are provided only in exceptional circumstances at our sole discretion. Refunds for subscription renewals are not available unless required by law.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CAREERMAX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

CareerMax provides resume optimization tools and recommendations, but we do not guarantee job offers, interviews, or career outcomes. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. CAREERMAX EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your settings.

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use the Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
